About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital, Wichita KS. Camber Children’s Mental Health in Wichita is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team. In this important role, you will provide direct care and support to children ages 6 to 18 in a safe, trauma-informed environment. Camber gives children and families hope. As an LPN, you will make a meaningful difference by supporting children and families, working alongside a multidisciplinary team, and helping young people build resilience for a brighter future.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; certification as an LPN
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Kansas; valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Three to six months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 20 years old to apply.
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents
- Support the nursing and clinical team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care
- Monitor patient safety and participate in crisis response as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child
