About The Position

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides hands-on patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. The role delivers multifunctional, high-quality, compassionate patient care at assigned Healthcare Centers and collaborates as part of a close-knit team. The LPN/LVN provides patient education, maintains accurate patient documentation, demonstrates competency in nursing procedures, and provides leadership support as needed. The position is directed by the Regional Nursing Director and operates within AHF’s collaborative organizational structure, in which staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The successful candidate keeps AHF’s mission and core values in mind and adapts to a dynamic environment to support a positive experience for clients and employees.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation provides specialized HIV/AIDS medical care and access to HIV treatments through its healthcare centers, pharmacies, health plan, research, and other activities. Its mission is to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy regardless of ability to pay.

Requirements

• New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
