About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports safe, high-quality resident care by delivering hands-on nursing services and ensuring accurate clinical coordination across the shift. The position is based in Meridian, Mississippi, with shifts of 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m. The LPN receives shift report, reviews new orders, and prioritizes resident needs. During the shift, the LPN provides treatments and medications as ordered, completes admission and ongoing assessments, documents care promptly, contributes to individualized care plans, and responds to changes in residents’ conditions. The role includes guiding and coaching CNAs, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and clinical contacts, supporting quality initiatives such as the Falls and Pressure Sore Programs, and providing a thorough handoff to the oncoming team. The organization provides senior healthcare services, including post-acute care, short-term rehabilitation, transitional care, and Alzheimer’s and dementia care.

Requirements

Active Mississippi LPN license in good standing.
