About The Position

Empro Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct patient care and support individuals with their healthcare needs. LPNs work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs), helping promote positive patient outcomes and maintain a supportive care environment. The position is in Flushing, NY, with shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The hourly rate is $44. Pay periods run Sunday to Saturday, and employees are paid weekly every Thursday by direct deposit.

Requirements

• Complete a practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
• Hold current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Document patient care activities and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
