About The Position

Sentara Hospice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. The role includes monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and supporting patients with varied medical needs. The LPN collaborates with Registered Nurses and physicians to provide compassionate, high-quality care that improves patient well-being. This is a part-time position for 32 hours per week on a weekend night schedule, anticipated to be Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM. The position is located in Suffolk, Virginia.

Requirements

Trade school graduate in nursing.
LPN license in the state of practice (Virginia).
BLS certification, required within 90 days of hire.
Two years of experience.

Prior hospice experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
