About The Position

Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking reliable, qualified, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join its growing team. This is a union position offering excellent benefits. LPNs work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor, providing diverse basic care to patients while remaining patient and calm. The role is described as demanding but rewarding. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Accurately record patients’ medical histories.
• Take and record measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
• Observe patients receiving treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain patient charts.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, and enemas; clean and dress wounds; and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing as assigned.
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
• Communicate with patients’ family members or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.
