About The Position
CorrectHealth is hiring a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Houma, Louisiana. The LPN participates in the clinical aspects of patient care with members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. The role works under the supervision of an RN, HSA, mid-level provider, or physician, or under the administrative supervision of the HSC. The nurse provides quality care, responds to needs within the correctional environment, and maintains nursing standards and ethics in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing requirements and other accrediting agencies.
Requirements
- Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing program.
- Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Maintain American Heart Association BLS certification.
