About The Position

Maplewood at Newtown is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist and support the Resident Services Director with the implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in the community. The role provides direct care and services to residents, supports residents and families, and helps promote resident health and wellness. The listed part-time schedule is Tuesday 3pm–11pm and Wednesday and Thursday 8am–1pm. The posting also notes part-time/per-diem shifts.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse to practice in the State.
• Two years of full-time or full-time-equivalent clinical experience.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications.
• Provide direct care and services to residents.
