Licensed Practical Nurse -Short Evening Shifts
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for its Delaware County Skilled Nursing team to provide compassionate, high-quality, reliable private duty nursing in clients’ homes. The role offers evening shifts from 3:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a chosen schedule and provide hands-on care to one client per shift, building relationships and supporting the client’s milestones. BAYADA provides paid orientation, role and client preparation, and support on the nurse’s first day in the home. LPNs follow up on, carry out, and document doctors’ orders; assess clients and monitor their conditions; and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. Nurses are empowered to perform skills autonomously in the home. The employer describes private duty nursing shifts as traditionally lasting 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
