About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and meets communication needs of patients and families. The LPN works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The job description also notes knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process in the ER setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.

• Work experience in health care preferred.
