About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care on a hospital nursing unit under the direction of an RN. Care must be appropriate to the patient's age and population and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
