About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wound care in a floater role. The nurse uses the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes, and works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit. The role provides routine care to sick or injured patients in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the day shift, with no weekends; the position is listed as PRN.

Requirements

• Valid LPN nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Recognize changes in a patient's condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
