About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wound care as a floater. The nurse uses the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes, working collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit. LPNs provide routine care for sick or injured patients in conjunction with Registered Nurses. Ongoing training is provided, and prior wound-care experience is not required.

Requirements

• Valid LPN nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training is provided.
• Experience with billing and coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
