About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care, a non-profit organization with 50 years of history, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private duty home care roles. This position offers stability, one-to-one client care, and flexible scheduling. Nurses will work with local clients, often with short commutes, and will care for individuals with various diagnoses including TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. LPNs/LVNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have transferable skills suitable for this role.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
• Work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client.
• Manage common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
