About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 12-Hour Shifts at Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC. This is a Full-Time position with compensation ranging from $26.00 to $31.50 per hour, plus shift and weekend differentials. Bethea Retirement Community, now managed by Oakdale Seniors Alliance, is dedicated to providing compassionate senior care. The new leadership is focused on competitive pay, staff appreciation, and work-life balance, aiming to create a better workplace for LPNs. LPNs are considered the backbone of the community, and the facility emphasizes that staff are never just a number. The role involves delivering direct nursing care, administering medications and treatments, guiding CNAs, and building relationships with residents. Shifts available are Full-Time Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Requirements

Active, unencumbered LPN license in the State of South Carolina (or valid Compact state license).
Current CPR / BLS certification required.
Strong clinical judgment.
Excellent communication skills.
Genuine passion for senior care.

Nice To Haves

Previous LPN experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF), Long-Term Care, or Assisted Living.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and wound care accurately in compliance with state standards and physician orders.
Track vital signs, document changes in condition, and communicate updates to attending physicians and family members.
Provide supportive clinical guidance, delegation, and teamwork with CNAs on your shift.
Maintain clean, accurate electronic care plans and medical records.
Participate in thorough shift reports to ensure continuous, high-quality care for residents.
