About The Position
Emporia Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest quality of care. The LPN is expected to reflect the value that residents come first, recognize the Community as residents’ home, help create a homelike environment, and model person-centered care. The role is for nights. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials and additional pay based on experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
