About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ensures efficient and effective nursing care, positive clinical outcomes, and resident and family satisfaction in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements. The LPN works within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act. The role is responsible for resident care and directing nursing care during an assigned shift. Duties include making staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, and working with physicians and other medical professionals.
Requirements
- Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the state of practice.
- Have a passion for working with seniors.
- Have a flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Maintain a professional image in appearance and behavior.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as an LPN in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
