About The Position

Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Supervision must follow current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest quality of care. The LPN reflects the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a home-like environment, and models person-centered care. The role is part of PMMA, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization focused on quality senior services and resident care. The position is for nights and starts at $29.00 per hour, with a weekend differential under the premium pay plan and additional pay based on experience.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved LPN program.
Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
I.V. certification.
