About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), also referred to as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), for a PRN night position at Victoria North. The nurse provides appropriate nursing care under the direction of an RN on the nursing unit. Care must be appropriate to the patient’s age and population and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The position also involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, performing therapeutic procedures, and completing other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments is preferred.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment is preferred.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.

- Perform therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
