About The Position

Cascades at Orchard Park is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, professional nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term and rehabilitation care setting. The role supports residents who require 24/7 care and includes medication and treatment administration, clinical procedures, monitoring, resident advocacy, and timely documentation. Personalized training and ongoing support are provided to help the nurse build confidence and continue developing professionally.

This is a full-time day position with 12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM, three days per week. Exact workdays are discussed during the interview, and there is no weekend requirement. The position is based in Orem, Utah.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and uphold long-term care regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Order and manage medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by physicians.
• Notify physicians and/or family members when a resident's condition changes.
• Provide nursing services such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, wound care, dressing changes, packs, and irrigations as necessary.
• Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents.
• Advocate for residents and ensure care provided by the team aligns with resident care plans and personal wishes.
• Complete required documentation and charting accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide compassionate, professional nursing care to geriatric residents requiring 24/7 support.
