About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse works directly under the supervision of a registered nurse. The position uses licensed practical nursing skills to carry out clinical nursing procedures and provide delegated nursing care and related services to psychiatric consumers. The position is located at 1312 Oakland Drive, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49008. Mandatory overtime, holiday work, and weekend work are required. The appointed candidate is subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing. The position also requires a background investigation, criminal records check, physical, and drug test. Michigan licensure as a Practical Nurse is required.
Requirements
- Possession of a certificate from a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
- Michigan licensure as a Practical Nurse.
- No specific type or amount of experience is required.
- Successful completion of a background investigation, criminal records check, physical, and drug test.
- Compliance with required pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
- Mandatory overtime, holiday work, and weekend work are required.
