About The Position

Performs journeyman-level electrical duties to repair commercial and industrial electrical equipment at the facility. Work includes maintenance, repair, and testing of fire alarm systems, lightning protection systems, facility and service grounding, and airfield and roadway lighting systems. The position also designs and installs new electrical circuits and installs outlets, fixtures, and equipment at the facility. Work uses a variety of machines, tools, and specialty electrical equipment and requires independent judgment and journeyman-level skills.

Requirements

• Possession of a journeyman electrician's license.
• Some positions may require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the Secretary of State to operate a designated state vehicle.

Responsibilities
