About The Position
Tri-State Water, Power & Air is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Electrician in Missouri to join their rapidly growing generator division. This is a hands-on role focused on whole-home standby generator installations, including pulling permits, meeting with inspectors, and ensuring all electrical work complies with safety codes. The position is field-based in St. Louis, MO.
Requirements
- Master Electrician license or equivalent in Missouri
- Experience pulling permits and working directly with code inspectors
- Hands-on experience with generator installations preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of NEC and regional codes
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Serve as the qualifying electrician for electrical permits in MO
- Pull permits and coordinate with inspection authorities and utility providers
- Work alongside plumbers and technicians to complete installation of whole-home standby generators and related electrical work
- Ensure all electrical work meets NEC and local code requirements
- Help train and mentor junior electricians and install crews in the field
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project updates as needed
