About The Position

At PRESNow, our Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) play a vital role in delivering exceptional care when patients need it most. Working in a unique environment that combines freestanding emergency and urgent care services, LPNs use strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and compassionate care to support the assessment, treatment, and ongoing care of diverse patient populations. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient experiences through collaboration with providers and the care team while upholding established nursing standards, evidence-based practices, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
  • BLS required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced urgent care and emergency services environment.
  • Support providers and registered nurses with patient assessments, treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice and document care accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to promote health and healing.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless, patient-centered experience.
  • Help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients, families, and team members.
  • Champion quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain current licensure, certifications, and professional competencies while pursuing ongoing learning and development.
