About The Position

HealthCARE Express is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to work alongside Providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic environment. The role involves delivering quality patient care and helping clinic operations run smoothly. The position is full-time, with 12-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and rotating Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The stated pay is $26 per hour. Responsibilities

Obtain vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight.
Insert saline locks.
Assist with basic and advanced cardiac life support.
Perform EKGs.
Assist with pelvic exams.
Apply sterile dressings.
Remove sutures or staples.
Cleanse and irrigate wounds.
Administer oral medications and injections via intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal routes.
Apply volar, thumb spica, ulnar gutter, and posterior leg splints.
Perform venipuncture.
Initiate routine lab tests.
Swab mucous membranes for cultures.
Administer and read TB skin tests.
Support referrals and documentation as needed.
Cross-train and step in where needed to support the team and patient flow.
