About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current licensure or registration in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
