About The Position

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered care to a pediatric client in Columbia, Tennessee. The role provides one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care, supporting the client’s dignity and independence. Coverage is required around the clock, with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and overnight shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; four nurses are needed for the case. G-tube experience is preferred. The office is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Home health care experience.
• G-tube experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed, and assess and report results.
• Accurately document nursing care, communications, progress, and outcomes related to established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate quantities.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
