About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to a pediatric client in Columbia, Tennessee. The role is full-time and provides coverage for 24/7 care, with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and overnight shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Four nurses are needed for the case. The office is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The nurse follows the client’s plan of care, supports the client’s dignity and independence, administers care and treatments as directed, documents care and progress, and communicates with the family and care team. The position offers flexible scheduling options, the opportunity to work independently with team support, and less time on one’s feet than in some other care settings. Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric case experience; G-tube experience is preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Home health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed according to the plan of care, and assess and report results.
• Accurately document nursing actions, care provided, communications, and progress toward established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate supplies.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
