Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (77225)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center in Pinckneyville, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Assignments will be restricted to one location at a time, with opportunities throughout the state of Illinois. Travel LPNs can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Must be 90+ miles from selected facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
