Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (76978)
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg, IL. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Assignments will be restricted to one location at a time within the state of Illinois, based on contract needs. Travel LPNs can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. These are full-time, benefit-eligible positions.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Illinois.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must live 90+ miles from the selected facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
