About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-time Traveling Night Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, IN. This role involves providing comprehensive services to the Indiana Department of Corrections. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees with opportunities throughout the country. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Travel LPNs assigned to Indiana can earn up to $2,165/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Indiana
- Must live over 50 miles from correctional facility
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital, correctional facility or long-term care facility
- Minimum of one year of travel nursing experience
