About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for its HICU® Health Services team in the New Castle, Delaware area. The Hospital at Home Nurse works in a team-based environment as an extension of a hospital care team, providing skilled nursing care to infants and young children at home as they transition from the hospital. Nurses care for clients one-on-one during the initial weeks of homecare and provide extensive training to the family and ongoing care team. The role offers full-time and part-time scheduling. BAYADA describes a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on employee well-being, growth, and development. Compensation is $45–$50 per hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse license.
Have at least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
Have NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care trach/vent experience.
Demonstrate competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or lab setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to clients in their homes as an extension of a hospital care team.
Provide one-on-one care to pediatric clients during the initial weeks of homecare.
Provide extensive training to clients’ families and the ongoing care team.
Provide care involving infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator needs.
