About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for its HICU® Health Services Hospital at Home team in the New Castle, Delaware area. Nurses help infants and young children transition from the hospital to home by delivering skilled nursing care in a team-based setting that acts as an extension of the hospital care team. The role provides one-on-one care to clients during the initial weeks of homecare, along with extensive training for families and the ongoing care team. The position offers full-time and part-time scheduling, with compensation of $45–$50 per hour and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
At least one year of verifiable work experience as an LPN.
NICU, PICU, ICU, or home-care tracheostomy/ventilator experience.
Demonstrated competence in infusion and tracheostomy/ventilator care, demonstrated in a home or lab setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality skilled nursing care to pediatric clients at home during their initial weeks of homecare.
Act as an extension of a hospital care team in a team-based environment.
Provide extensive training to clients’ families and the ongoing care team.
Provide one-on-one care to patients.
