About The Position

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses for its 166-bed skilled nursing and post-acute care facility in Whitehall Borough, Pennsylvania. The position offers $36 per hour, same-day pay, and 8-hour shifts on a two-week rotating schedule: 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m.

The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. Working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the LPN helps ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards. The role is supported by a long-tenured clinical team and accessible facility leadership.

The facility describes its environment as clean and organized, with a focus on appropriate staffing, accessible leadership, and supporting staff growth. Employees may be able to pick up PRN shifts at other facilities in the regional network after onboarding.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in Pennsylvania, maintained in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education.
• Active CPR certification.
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients.
• Understanding of Patient Rights.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification with skills is preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful.
