About The Position
Havenovacare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem/PRN positions across Massachusetts. You will provide hands-on nursing care to our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, with the flexibility to balance your schedule while delivering exceptional care. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Current, valid LPN license in the State of Massachusetts (in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; home care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment health screening
- Availability to work weekends (required)
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English + any additional language) strongly preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home setting
- Compassionate, patient-centered care approach
- Cultural sensitivity and comfort working with diverse patient populations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, in-home patient care including medication administration, wound care, catheter care, and prescribed treatments
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and any changes in condition
- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with RNs, physicians, and the broader care team
- Educate patients and family members on medications, procedures, and disease management
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Communicate proactively with supervisors and care teams regarding patient progress
- Follow all infection control protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations
- Attend care conferences and team meetings as needed
