About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team at the Medical Intensive Infirmary (MII) at Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, Georgia. The MII is a specialized unit caring for patients with complex medical conditions requiring ongoing assessment, skilled nursing care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy caring for medically complex patients in a structured, supportive clinical environment. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RNs) and medical and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in behavioral health, correctional, or ER
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license | Compact (MSL) or Georgia (SL) | Must be active and valid
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS | Must be active
• Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, this may include drug screen and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Utilize and expand clinical skills, including tracheostomy care, enteral feeding (G-tubes), wound care, and chronic disease management.
