About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The LPN works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This full-time, day-shift position is in the Adult Intensive Unit (Males) within Behavioral Health at Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. The hospital offers free parking. A sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and will be discussed during the interview process. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
