About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a long-term care or nursing home environment. This position involves delivering essential nursing services, assisting with patient management, and ensuring smooth operations within the facility.
Requirements
- Must utilize the Cerner charting system.
- Must utilize a paper timecard for tracking hours worked.
- Must wear royal blue or white scrubs, with the option of white lab jackets.
- All requests for time off must be submitted prior to contract confirmation.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist in performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and adjust patient care plans.
- Support patients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interactions in the charting system.
- Participate in shift report and handover processes to ensure continuity of care.
