About The Position

BAYADA Hospice is looking for compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in the North Jersey Hospice office, located in North Bergen, NJ for per diem visits. This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in North Jersey (Primarily Essex, Union, Middlesex counties). Minimum of 2 weekdays availability required 1-2 holidays per year mandatory No on call required Must be willing to cover any county-assignments will vary Weekly pay Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $38-$41 per hour This is visiting position-reliable transportation needed Bilingual Spanish a plus Apply now and speak with a recruiter to learn more about opportunities in your area. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. As a hospice nurse (LPN) you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. Responsibilities for a Hospice LPN include: Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories. Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care. Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager. Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders. Performing client assessments as necessary. Occasional on call after hours and/or weekends Qualifications for a LPN include: A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NJ A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience. Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Requirements

  • A current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in NJ
