About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Hold current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
