Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Overnights
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric and adult care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing in a client's home, caring for clients ranging from infants to geriatric patients. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and provide hands-on care while building relationships and supporting client milestones. Pay is $32–$35 per hour based on qualifications, with a $2,000 bonus opportunity for nurses who work two overnights per week and complete 120 independent hours. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program.
- A current New Jersey State nursing license in good standing.
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one care in the client's home.
- Perform nursing skills with autonomy in the home.
