About The Position

Betz Nursing Home is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time day, evening, and night shifts, as well as part-time night shifts. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. Nurses use their skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being in a rewarding senior-care environment.

Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward excellent resident care.
• Communicate in ways that support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
