About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Immanuel Living, you can make a difference as you work in an environment dedicated to helping our residents and their families. We have 12 hour day shifts (6-6) available for a nurse seeking a career. The purpose of the LPN position is to serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary care team facilitating quality care, guided by residents’ individualized service plans, Facility policies and procedures, and State and Federal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
  • Current licensure as an LPN or RN in the State of Montana
  • Completion of 24 continuing education credits within a 2-year licensure period, as required by the State of Montana
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, State and Federal guidelines for long-term care
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time/deadline pressures
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Establish and maintain relationships with residents, customers, and coworkers
  • Learn new tasks and apply knowledge to serve others
  • Commit to delivering on responsibilities
  • Exhibit reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Follow physicians’ orders, treatments, and resident service plan approaches.
  • Carry out duties assigned by the Director of Nursing &/or Unit Resident Care Manager
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Complete medical and behavioral observations as required.
  • Work and coordinate with all team members to meet resident’s needs.
  • Assist other staff assisting residents, as needed.
  • Work independently, while prioritizing duties and responsibilities, taking on additional assignments, maintaining accuracy and timeliness with documentation, and demonstrating the ability to problem solve.
  • Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
