Requirements

  • Current licensure/certification as LPN, CMA, or RMA required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in mobile clinic environments.
  • Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program with six months of patient care experience required.
  • Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
  • A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card.
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to patient centered care philosophy as evidenced by effective communications skills, professional demeanor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and motivation to articulate and support departmental philosophy of excellent guest relations.
  • Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in ambulatory, community health, or mobile care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake, including vital signs, history, and medication reconciliation.
  • Administer immunizations, medications, and point-of-care testing under provider supervision.
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain infection control and safety standards in mobile settings.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage the mobile clinic calendar.
  • Register patients, verify insurance, and ensure accurate demographic entry.
  • Document clinical information in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Respond to patient inquiries and route communications as appropriate.
  • Support collection of patient satisfaction data and program outcomes.
  • Set up and break down exam rooms and workstations daily.
  • Restock medical and office supplies regularly.
  • Perform routine equipment checks; report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and coordinate safety inspections.
  • Safely handle and transport biohazard waste per regulations.
