About The Position
Vista Specialty Hospital Healthcare's Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients, adhering to established nursing standards and hospital policies. This role involves performing specific nursing services to promote health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN License issued in the state of facility location.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year’s prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.
- Performs specific nursing services designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury.
- Provides care based on standards established or recognized by the Board of Nursing, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
