Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for PRN, part-time, full-time, and contract staffing opportunities in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings. Nurses can create their own schedules through the company app and may work in Sioux Falls, Brookings, Yankton, Mitchell, Watertown, Aberdeen, Pierre, Sioux City, and other rural locations. Pay is $40–$42+ per hour, paid weekly. Shift options include days, evenings, and nights, with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. On-call staff are available 24/7. Health insurance is available subject to one year of full-time status and other stipulations. Requirements
- Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse license in South Dakota, or be eligible for reciprocity or a multistate license.
- Maintain required certifications, qualifications, and associated standards.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Practical Nurse experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide staffing in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings.
- Assist with patients’ daily activities.
- Pass medications, provide treatments, and provide wound care.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Observe patients for issues that may require a change in care, medication, or medical equipment.
