Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide staffing support in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings across Sioux Falls, Brookings, Yankton, Mitchell, Watertown, Aberdeen, Pierre, Sioux City, and other rural locations. Nurses can create their own schedules through the company app. Opportunities are available on a PRN, part-time, or full-time contract basis, with day, evening, and night shifts in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour durations. The role includes 24/7 access to an Interim HealthCare on-call staff member. Health insurance is available subject to one year of full-time status and other stipulations.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota, or eligibility for reciprocity/multistate licensure.
- Maintain required certifications and qualifications and comply with associated standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities.
- Pass medications, provide treatments, and perform wound care.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Check vital signs.
- Observe patients for issues that may require a change in care, medication, or medical equipment.
- Provide staffing support in long-term care facilities and/or assisted living settings.
