About The Position

TK Health provides quality healthcare services within correctional facilities throughout the region. Our nursing professionals have the opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on patient care while working in a safe, secure, structured, and unique healthcare environment. Correctional nursing offers nurses the opportunity to utilize a broad range of clinical skills while caring for an underserved patient population and working alongside a supportive healthcare team. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Okfuskee County Jail in Okemah, Oklahoma. This is a full-time day-shift position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, offering a consistent weekday schedule with no regularly scheduled weekends. The LPN provides nursing care based on individual patient needs and performs dependent and independent nursing functions within the scope of practical nursing. Care is provided under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Current, valid and unrestricted Oklahoma LPN license
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Ability to successfully complete required background screening

Nice To Haves

Correctional healthcare experience is not required
