About The Position
Centurion is seeking a per diem (PRN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Western Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. This role operates under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be IV Certified
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
