We are seeking PRN LPNs to provide hands-on resident care, administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate records, and respond to emergencies. This role offers 12-hour shifts with differentials for nighttime and weekend work. Requirements

  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards
  • Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college or university degree desired
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides hands on resident care
  • Proper and timely administration of medications and treatments
  • Accurate verbal and written reports
  • Rapid response to all emergency situations
  • Performs professional and restorative nursing services including resident assessments, recording of vital signs, administering medications and treatments
  • Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided
  • Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist and medical personnel as needed
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility, following the guidelines outlined in the Resident Care Plan
  • Assists with in-service and on the job training and mentoring of Team Members
  • Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned
